For over 10 years Downing Electric Inc. has been responding to the electrical needs of its diverse and growing customer base.  Since its inception James Downing, president and master electrician, has focused on the principles of quality, integrity and teamwork to guide the company’s growth and solidify its reputation.

From the beginning, Jim and the committed, hardworking associates of Downing Electric have seen the company’s capabilities expand while maintaining a favorable reputation in the area due to quality work, attention to detail, superior customer service and an honest, fair work ethic.  The result has been a steady track record of growth and extremely satisfied, repeat customers.  Today our inside staff of 4 works diligently to support 15 electrical and low voltage technicians at various residential and commercial sites throughout eastern and central Massachusetts.  We have expanded from a residential service company to include commercial construction projects, design/build projects, fire alarm, security and communicatio ns services.  Through our committed staff and our guiding principles of quality, integrity and teamwork, we are dedicated to continued growth and excellence in all of these areas.
