various repairs (trying three places before finding one which had what Ineeded), but he did a beautiful job installing the new fixtures.  

When it turned out that there was no electrical line in the electrical closet on my floor to prepare my apartment for cable, Dan figured out that my line was actually located in the first floor's electrical closet.Dan put a lot of thought into the cable set-up I'll need and helped me give instructions to Comcast over the phone.  I have never had as good an experience with service repairs as I did today, thanks to Dan.

Dear Jim,

I am writing to express my appreciation to Downing Electric for providing excellent service on numerous occasions. 

For the installation of the recessed lights in my kitchen soffits, I appreciated your suggestions for the most economical way to install them and the most aesthetic placement.  My kitchen is now brightly lit and I enjoy having these new lights.

You informed me that the existing installation of my bathroom exhaust fans was incorrect and was causing some mold build up. You installed new fans in both bathrooms.  The fans that you recommended are effective in keeping moisture levels low and have completely resolved any mold issues in these rooms.  I no longer have to open a window after taking a shower.  This is certainly a heat saver.

I have had switches, wall sockets, light fixtures and ceiling fans added or replaced by Downing Electric.  There was one tricky area in a bathroom where I needed the new lights centered over a sink.  There were no supporting wall studs for attaching the box.  Your crew installed these lights with no issues and they look great.

Your employees are talented and competent electricians.  All areas were left neat and clean after a job had been completed.  They cared about my level of satisfaction with the work done. They were professional and pleasant at all times.

Your prices for service were competitive and fair.
